Rahul Gandhi on Budget 2024 : "Attack on dignity of India's federal structure"

New Delhi [India], July 24  Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi hit out at the decision Bharatiya Janata Party over the Association Financial plan introduced on Tuesday, saying that it is an assault on the "respect of India's government structure".

"This budget plan is an assault on the poise of India's government structure - in the eagerness to save power, there is disregard of different conditions of the country, there is victimization them," Rahul Gandhi said in a post on Facebook.

The Congress MP participated in an INDIA alliance challenge the Financial plan at the Parliament complex on Friday.

"Today, INDIA alliance MPs challenged NDA's 'Kursi Bachao Spending plan' in the premises of Parliament House," the Congress MP said in his post adding, "INDIA will keep on raising its voice to guarantee equivalent equity to each condition of the country."

Talking about the opposition protest at the Parliament, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that the Association Financial plan is against ranchers, poor people, and the working class and is against the government construction of the country.

"The BJP government's  budget is against farmers, poor people and particularly the working class. In this financial plan, the focal government has oppressed the states, which is likewise against the bureaucratic construction of the country," Priyanka Gandhi said in a post on 'X'.

The Congress chief guaranteed that the resistance alliance will keep on raising individuals' voices.

"The INDIA coalition will unequivocally battle each shamefulness being finished to individuals of the nation and will keep on raising the voice of individuals. Today, MPs from resistance groups fought in the Parliament premises against this shamefulness," Priyanka Gandhi said.

The opposition INDIA coalition MPs held a dissent in the Parliament complex on Wednesday, against the Union Budget.

"opposition virodhi kursi bachao Spending plan murda baad" trademarks were raised by the INDIA alliance pioneers as they fought holding bulletins in the Parliament building guaranteeing that the Spending plan is "unfair" in nature.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Sonia Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, party General Secretary KC Venugopal, Samajwadi Party boss Akhilesh Yadav, TMC MP Dola Sen were seen taking part in the dissent.

"This is an underhanded Financial plan and it is injustice...," Congress boss Kharge expressed addressing journalists during the dissent. "This financial plan is simply to fulfill their partners... They have given nothing to anybody," he added.
